Last week, Attorney Michael Beltran won a $325,000 Jury Verdict in a breach of commercial lease case against a headmistress and two of her school businesses after a three-day jury trial in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit in and for Manatee County before Judge John Lakin.  Attorney Beltran’s relentless motion practice had resulted in dismissal prior to trial of each of the counterclaims asserted by the headmistress and her businesses and also paved the way for Attorney Beltran’s client to obtain a judgment against the headmistress personally.  The verdict represents nearly three years worth of rent on the parties’ lease.  Client 75th Street, LLC and cocounsel James Patterson are very pleased with the result.
