Attorney Beltran was recently appointed to the Thirteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission by Florida Governor Rick Scott. JNC Commissioners review candidates for the trial courts covering Hillsborough County. When they complete their deliberations, they send the governor a list of candidates from which he chooses one or more judges. The governor recently issued a press-release announcing the nomination.  The nomination was also covered by Florida Politics and St. Petersblog.
